Safety Cages  QLE-WPB (Basic Cage) QLE-WP (Now in Square Finish)
Safety cages are designed to permit a forklift to elevate a maximum of two people to a high working area. They are generally used for maintenance work, order picking an stocktaking. The safety cage slides onto the standard forks fitted to the fork truck until the retention pins can be positively locked into place.
The QLE-WP style of cage are fully meshed on all sides and are now made in a square finish (not rounded as in photo). The QLE-WPB are our basic cage with mesh on the rear section only. This style of cage can also be made with a split rear section that allows the top half to be removed.
All safety cages are available in a class 2, 3 or 4 fork pocket, to accommodate the varying styles of forklift truck. The cage can be fitted with a tooling rail if required, which is fitted at the top of the rear rail.
